Getting focused and taking action PDF Print E-mail
By K. Proctor

It can be hard to decide where to focus when you are running your own business. There are tons of ideas and limited time. How to spend your time? I turn to Spirit as much as possible to hear what is the right activity for me day by day.

I find others contribute ideas and support too and those and I think of those as indirect ways that Spirit is supporting me.

Like today, I met with a neighbor who I found out helps new business owners {small world!) So we were chatting and she just re-emphasized the importance of finding an area to focus on instead of scattering your efforts. Good reminder.

Then I articulated that I was focusing on visibility and finding forums for publication and speaking so that I can widen my contacts and business. That alone spurred me to action today in researching speaking opportunities. This gave me a chance to get focused on that and work on my speaking applications and pitches. This was time well spent - it helped me dig into that a bit more.

So I'm grateful for the direct ideas and intuitions I get from Spirit as well as indirectly through the intelligent ideas of those I meet that spur me on. I see that Spirit is working in all of us, so of course I would find support in others as well as in God directly. Just a nice way to see all the support around me.
