As many entrepreneurs realize free press is a great thing. By 'free press' I mean opportunities to publish or get published and credit your business. I met a woman who is an amazing executive coach and much more at a networking group a few weeks back. She introduced me to an editor of a weekly law publication. I sent along some ideas for columns and got positive interest from the editor. I'm thrilled. I hope this comes to fruitition. I am so grateful for this opportunity. And I love how selflessly this woman I met, Pamela, shared her contacts with me -- so naturally and kindly.
The networking group I met Pamela at is called BNI - it is an interesting and very focused networking group. (I'm going to join this group after much research). I'm excited to make more connections and also to talk with other professionals about their work and give them introductions and ideas too.
You gotta share what you know and who you know. It will bless you, I believe this is a law of Spirit or Truth. (Check out the book Never Eat Alone for great ideas about sharing and growing in business.)
