The relationship between Spirit and its creation is the model for perfect customer service.

I'm a big fan of CRM (customer relationship management). And I've read tons of books and articles on the topic and love hearing about the way business is blessed by a closer, more personalized relationship with customers.

What I've been thinking about lately is that Spirit offers the ultimate 1 to 1 relationship - on an infinite scale.

Spirit has a relationship individually with each one of us. That is a special relationship between us and Spirit. I'm connected with Spirit, you are, my husband is, and everyone I could ever meet has a direct relationship with Spirit, too. That is the ultimate CRM - which says treat each customer uniquely.

I guess this may excite me more than others because I'm such a fan of CRM, but it really spoke to me as to what I can emulate in my business relationships. And I know that Spirit is leading each person I meet, helping them be the best they can be. And so I'm always meeting people who are led by Spirit and expressing that nature, and unique talents and ideas. Nice way to get past judgement or measuring someone up.

Just something I thought was worth sharing. Please feel free to comment.

Caring enough to manage
written by Sew on September 6, 2006,12:01 am

I’ve heard of Customer Relations. But this idea of Customer Relationship Management is cool.

Like a farmer doesn’t just plant the seeds. He has to manage them, cultivating and nurturing them. Really caring for them so they can grow to their full potential.

In business, it’s not enough to let the seeds of good customer relations fall where they may. Let’s manage them and cultivate them to grow more fruitful with the extra attention. The customers will surely appreciate it. And that will show up in the bottom line.

Thanks for sharing this concept with those of us who had not heard it called that before. It was an eye-opener for me.
