Love inspires and leads you down the right path each day.
“Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way.” – Mary Baker Eddy in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures
I read this passage and started to think about what this really says. Sometimes I find when I read spiritual ideas that I need to pause and dig deeper to find fresh inspiration that can help my day. (This author uses a variety of words like Love to mean God or Spirit.)
I started thinking what each element meant in this sentence. Here is some of the inspiration I found from this idea:
* “Love inspires” = Love opens my eyes, lifts up my thought to something higher, impels me to clearer views of Life and Spirit.
* “Love illumines” = Love shows me what I need to see/know, it brightens my path, it brings light to darkness (like confusion, stress or fear). I also thought about how this illumination destroys darkness immediately – like as soon as the light turns on in a room instantly there is light everywhere.
* “Love designates” = Love shows me the right way – how and where to go. This makes me think that Love reveals to me the right action and right thoughts and if God is revealing those to me what a special path I have.
* “Love leads” = Love goes with me down the path He has made for me. He doesn’t just show me the path and give me a nudge to get going. This reminded me that Love or God is always with me, and how great it is that He helps me along at every step and goes with me.
So overall this means to me that Love, God, is lifting my thought to spiritual views, helping me grow in spirituality. He illumines the path he has designated just for me (we each have a unique path) and then He walks with me leading me to take each step.
What a blessing this is for my business and my whole life – to know that Love leads me, inspires and supports me - that I cannot get lost because God is there holding my hand and lighting my path; that I cannot be hurt because God is all good and is not the creator of discord. This prayer applies to my business because God knows my talents (that He gave me) and knows the right steps for me to best freely express those talents and share them widely.
