Spirit has led me into self-employment with confidence and wisdom and brought me much good during an intense time of growth, learning and trust.

Spirit helps me with every step of every day. I've seen the hand of Spirit at work in my life and all around me -- the good that results and the harmony too. Spirit has led me into self-employment -- and into ongoing part-time work -- with confidence and wisdom, and brought me so much good during an intense time of growth, learning and trust.

The power of God, Spirit in every day life is discussed in much detail in the book Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. And I've found these ideas a great resource for me. I use the ideas in this book on a daily basis - it helps me better know God and understand Her role in my life.

What I endeavor to think about every day is that Spirit is fully caring for me -- and that includes more than just guiding me into the activity, good clients, and intelligent decisions -- but it also includes the finances I need at each step.

I've found it easier to pray about other things than to pray about money. For example praying that I'm led into right action by Spirit and that I'll get the right clients and right opportunities where I can make a difference. I feel more confident in these areas because of my prayers.

What dawned on me recently was that I can rely on God's strength and supply to help me make ends meet. If God can do anything, surely She can help me in financial ways. Not that God will drop down some cash on me but God can help me see what are the right expenses to pay at what time, where to draw from and She can surely coordinate my client payments and my needs.

Sound far-fetched? Well I've seen it happen before and know others who have found prayer to have such very practical effects. Instead of feeling like things are out of my control, I can feel confidence that God is on my side and I can't run out of what I need or be stuck in any place where She can't help me. I am just starting to really feel this. I will continue to pray on this because it is something I need to continue to feel on a regular basis - instead of fear or worry.
