Living Green Program
Three Thursdays – January 22, 29 & February 5
Wright Tavern in Concord, MA
Join Carol Hohle, Executive Director of Inspiration House, at Wright
Tavern Center for Spiritual Renewal in Concord, MA this month for a three-part program about
greening consciousness.
On Thursday, January 22nd, from 7:30 –
9:00 p.m.,
Carol will share her personal ecological conversion
experience in an interactive lecture exploring the shift
in
consciousness that facilitates the outward expression of sustainable
life choices. During the talk we’ll discuss ways to “right size” our
lives and consider how a
“less is more” approach can result in a
happier,
more fulfilling life.
Following the introductory talk, in a
two-part workshop on subsequent Thursdays – January 29 and February 5 –
from 7:30 – 9:30
p.m., we’ll delve more deeply into
several spiritual practices that cultivate an eco-consciousness.
We will unmask the myths of our consumer culture and explore the
benefits of humility, gratitude, openness, and a new way of thinking
about self as a “we” rather than a “me.”
Register online for this insightful and practical learning experience
at Wright Tavern’s website. The fee is $60 for the complete
three-part workshop OR $15 for the introductory talk on January 22nd.

Special Course, "Finding the Deep River Within"
Seven Tuesdays – January 27 thru March 17
This winter, Inspiration House, is offering for the first time
a program based on the book, Finding the Deep River Within: A Women’s Guide to Recovering Balance and Meaning in Everyday Life by Abby Seixas.
Beneath the busyness of our daily lives flows a deep river of
creativity, passion, silence, and a place of contact with ourselves and
what matters to us. Discovering and drawing on the Deep River
counter acts the fragmentation and sheer pace of life in 21st century
and brings inspiration and balance to our lives. Based on Abby
Seixas’ book, Finding the Deep River Within, together with the
help of experiential exercises and discussion, we will explore ways to
free ourselves from the tyranny of our “to-do’s,” and so to rest more
in our deeper selves and in the gift of life itself.
The course begins, Tuesday morning, January 27th, and meets for seven
weeks through March 17th (no session during February school vacation
week), from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Class meets in Weston, MA at
Inspiration House. The special introductory fee is $140.
Students will need to purchase or borrow the book for the duration of
the course. Finding the Deep River Within can be purchased locally in Weston at
Dragon Books, via amazon.com, or at any bookstore nationwide.
This course is almost full. There is space for a few more to join
us. Please CONTACT US by January 16th if you are interested in
registering. The facilitator, Carol Hohle, will need to speak
with you to discern if this class is a right fit for prospective
participants.
