Turning around a bad day - 2006/11/08 20:04
Today started out ok, I had a morning networking meeting and it was good.
But for some reason I couldn't get focused on my prayers before or after this meeting.
So I just gave up and moved on with my day. Without praying in my usual way. Not ideal but I just moved on.
And my day after that meeting has been lukewarm, not great, I have felt a bit bored and also displaced - like I should be doing other work than my new business.
So I reached out to some friends to try and find a bit of joy. Then this afternoon a great phone call came my way. A contact invited me to participate and speak at a national conference for my industry. That is amazing news for me.
I just love how God never leaves me alone and feeling disconnected - She always finds a way to reconnect with me and help me feel directed and nutured by Spirit.
So I'm just sharing my experience here as a way to talk about how we can lean on Spirit to help us out of any pit. And how we can be grateful for this evidence of God's care.
